About Us
UT Medical Center aims to promote education, exploration, and exposure. We hope to serve as a catalyst for workforce development by creating opportunities for youth and young adults from all walks of life to learn about the myriad of career opportunities within the healthcare sector. The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strives to serve as a leading resource for the next generation of scholars, researchers, medical professionals, and healthcare professionals by offering a variety of learning opportunities, both individually and within small/large group settings. More specifically, we partner with schools, non-profits, and youth organizations to provide young people with opportunities to tour the medical center, speak to nurses, acquire advice from physicians, and develop career pathways for future success.
