Gayle—LMT

Gayle has provided massage therapy services at the University of Tennessee Medical Center Cancer Institute since 2004, working closely with patients, staff and physicians to improve clinical outcomes through application of manual therapies and guided relaxation in a safe, individualized and encouraging environment.  Educated at both the University of South Florida and East Tennessee School of Massage Therapy, Gayle has been in practice since 2001 and holds additional certifications in Reiki and massage therapy for all stages of cancer recovery.  Her clinical interests lie in decreasing the impact of stress relief on chronic and acute illness and quality of life.

 

  JoAnn—LMT

JoAnn is a licensed massage therapist. She was educated at Roane State Community College in the Somatic Therapy program and graduated in 2005. She specializes in therapeutic and deep tissue massage with a focus on meeting the client's unique needs. She has furthered her education and received certification in massage for the cancer patients, Reiki, and essential oil use.

 

  

Sarah - L.Ac.

Sarah

Sarah has been practicing acupuncture since completing her Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College, Santa Fe, NM in 2008. Prior to that she completed her Bachelors of Science at Indiana University-Bloomington. Sarah enjoys working with patients to achieve their health goals. She has clinical interests in fertility and integrative oncology. 

 

 

Valisha - LA

Since completing training in medical and oncology aesthetics, Valisha has dedicated her career to general wellness and serving the cancer population.  She is passionate about helping clients optimize their skin health through a holistic approach. Her signature facial is an indulgence that includes guidance on appropriate skin care products, effective techniques and regimens, and other treatments that enhance skin health and appearance.  She has specific interests in stress management and the role of aesthetics during and post cancer treatment.
