Personal Interests:

Dr. Rogers chose the field of cardiology because cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death and hospitalization in the country, and he wanted to work in a field where he could help as many patients as possible. Making a subtle diagnosis or changing a course of treatment that ultimately improves someone's life keeps him going and reminds him that he gets to practice the greatest profession in the world. Dr. Rogers and his wife have three daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing golf, woodworking and rooting for Duke sports teams.
