The Man Run

About the Man Run

Join us for the 12th Annual Man Run presented by Regal!

Sunday, November 3 at 2 pm

The Man Run features a 8K , 5K and a family fun walk, and a special recognition lunch for prostate cancer survivors and their loved ones.

All funds raised by the Man Run support prostate cancer education and free screenings, provided by the Cancer Institute and urologists at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, as well as other men’s health initiatives across our 21-county service area. In the last decade, funds raised by the Man Run have provided more than 5,000 screenings for men in East Tennessee.

Why the Man Run?

Did you know that according to the American Cancer Society, approximately 1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime, and prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men, behind lung cancer?

Only about 1 in 41 will die of prostate cancer because if caught early, prostate cancer can be treated. In fact, more than 2.9 million men in the US who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer at some point in their lifetime are still alive today.
