As a parent-to-be, one of the most important decisions you’ll make is where to have your baby. We invite you to take a closer look at the Center for Women and Infants at The University of Tennessee Medical Center. Let us show you why more babies are born here than any other place in the region.
This free tour begins on the 3rd Floor of the East Pavilion (the same place you’ll go when you come to the hospital for delivery). You will see a Labor & Delivery birthing suite where you will have a chance to ask questions and learn more about your options during childbirth.
During the tour you will also learn about our Mother/Baby floor and our Level III NICU should your baby need specialized care. UT Medical Center is also standing by with breastfeeding help and childbirth and parenting classes to help you feel prepared for your delivery and confident as a new parent.
We recommend mothers-to-be take a tour with their support person between 26 to 36 weeks of pregnancy. (If you are taking the Childbirth Preparation Series, a tour will be included during those classes.)
