The Bernard E. Bernstein Society

Our planned giving society is named after Mr. Bernard E. Bernstein, Founding Director and Inaugural Chairman of the Board of Directors of University Health System s, Inc. (which does business as The University of Tennessee Medical Center). Mr. Bernstein, founding member of Bernstein, Stair & McAdams, LLP in Knoxville, Tennessee, understands the significance and impact that a planned gift can have on an organization.

Members of The Bernard E. Bernstein Society have expressed their commitment to The University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT Graduate School of Medicine through a very special and important form of financial support: planned gifts. These donors have named The Medical Center or the UT Graduate School of Medicine as the ultimately beneficiary of gifts such as bequests, charitable remainder trusts, IRA designations and/or gifts of life insurance.

With expert planning, you may find a planned-giving vehicle will let you address your own financial concerns and challenges, while also allowing you to create a legacy that will extend beyond the benefits of your generosity - far into the future and on a much broader scale.
