How do I apply for a job at UT Medical Center?

Which hospital jobs does UT Medical Center offer?
UT Medical Center often has new job postings. We have more than 3,000 employees in very diverse jobs. We recruit for registered nurses, physical & occupational therapists, pharmacist, surgical technologist, diagnostic imaging technologist as well as non-clinical positions including patient access clerks, transportation attendants, medical records clerks, food service workers and custodians and so many more hospital job openings. Can I apply for more than one job?
You are welcome to apply for jobs in which you are interested. You must meet all skill level and education requirements for a job in order to be considered for that position. Individuals can have up to 10 active applications at a time. Once you have reached the maximum of 10 you will not be able to apply for additional positions until one of the positions is no longer available or you withdraw your application from a position you have chosen.

What is the pay rate for jobs at UT Medical Center?
It is UT Medical Center’s policy to provide competitive pay and benefits. Pay is based on experience and relevant education to the position. In addition to your pay, UT Medical Center also offers exceptional benefits.

What is the status of my application?
After applying online, your application is reviewed by Human Resources staff.  If your qualification (education, experience, etc.) match the available position, you may be contacted for an interview.

Which types of benefits do you offer?
UT Medical Center offers many benefits to its employees.

  • Medical insurance is through Cigna and is at a very reasonable rate per month. UT Medical Center pays approximately 80% of the total premium for the basic plan.

Where is Human Resources located?
Human Resources is located at 2035 Medical Center Way, Knoxville, TN.  From Alcoa Highway, exit on to Cherokee Trail, take the first road to the left, Medical Center Way, and follow signs to Human Resources.
