Conditions We Treat

  • Shoulder impingement syndrome
  • Shoulder instability
  • Shoulder fractures
  • Dislocation
  • Arthritis
  • Frozen or stiff shoulder
  • Rotator cuff injuries

Nonsurgical Options

When appropriate, our first course of action is to treat shoulder pain with nonsurgical options. These may include:

  • Anti-inflammatory medications
  • Physical therapy
  • Topical medications

Surgical Treatments

If surgery is determined to be the best treatment, our expert team of surgeons will choose one of these options:

Rotator Cuff Repair

Rotator cuff repair is surgery to repair a torn shoulder tendon. The procedure can be done with a large (open) incision or with shoulder arthroscopy, which uses smaller incisions.

Shoulder Arthroscopy

Shoulder arthroscopy is a type of surgery that uses a tiny camera called an arthroscope to examine or repair the tissues inside or around your shoulder joint. The arthroscope is inserted through a small cut (incision) in your skin.

Shoulder Replacement

Shoulder replacement is a surgery in which all or part of the shoulder joint is replaced by an implant. It is typically done to relieve arthritis pain or fix severe joint damage.

We also offer Reverse Shoulder Replacement, which is done for patients with an irreparable rotator cuff tear. In it, the position of the ball and socket is reversed, making it a good option for patients who have had previously had a shoulder replacement.

Our goal is to help you regain the motion, strength, stability and smoothness required for normal shoulder function.
