At UPCC we strive to develop a continuing relationship between physician and patient, while providing the ultimate in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Our goal is to return each of our patients to a healthy, active life.

Our 13 physicians and skilled staff are trained in the major specialties of pulmonary medicine. Offices in The University of Tennessee Medical Center’s Heart Lung Vascular Institute and our faculty appointments with the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine give us access to the latest medical developments and research. UPCC received accreditation for a Pulmonary & Critical Care Fellowship Program to train future physicians.

UPCC physicians are board certified in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine. One of the physician is also board certified in sleep medicine. The American Nurses Credentialing Center awarded board certification to Carol D. Hawkins, FNP and Donna S. Heath, FNP UPCC’s nurse practitioners.
