About Us

The East Tennessee Comprehensive Hemophilia Center was established in 1978 through a grant from the Tennessee Department of Health and Environment as one of five comprehensive care centers in the state. The purpose of the center is to evaluate, diagnose, treat and supervise the care of patients with inherited bleeding disorders. The center provides specialized care for both inpatients and outpatients. Anyone who experiences unusual or prolonged bleeding may benefit from these services.

East Tennessee Comprehensive Hemophilia Center provides multidisciplinary comprehensive care to persons with bleeding disorders including information, education and counseling to families affected by these disorders. The center’s professional staff and consultants serve patients with hereditary bleeding disorders in Knoxville and surrounding counties.
