What is an Urgent Care Telehealth eVisit?

UT Urgent Care offers telehealth video eVisits which are a convenient alternative to seeking in-office care.  Telehealth eVisits allow a UT Urgent Care provider to treat a wide variety of illnesses and conditions using a secure video connection.

Telehealth Urgent Care eVisits are only available for patients located within the state of Tennessee.

How does a UT Urgent Care Telehealth eVisit work?

A Telehealth Urgent Care eVisit requires an appointment.

After registering and scheduling an appointment, the visit occurs on a cloud-based telehealth platform using a secure video connection.  You must have a desktop computer with camera, laptop, mobile phone, or a tablet with a good internet connection.

What if Additional Testing is Needed?

You may need to visit a local UT Urgent Care when testing or diagnostics is necessary to confirm your diagnosis.  Examples of this may include if a urine culture or strep test is needed.
