Free Prostate Cancer Screenings in August

Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in men. Over 6,280 new cases will be diagnosed this year in Tennessee alone. The medical center is offering free prostate cancer screenings to team members and the general public during the month of August.

Screening Recommendations

  • Men age 50+
  • Men age 45+ who have a family history of prostate cancer or are African American
  • All screenings include a digital rectal exam and prostate-specific antigen blood test.
