Birthing Center Tours

Curious about delivering your bundle of joy at UT Medical Center? We invite you and one support person for an in-person tour of the labor & delivery and postpartum spaces. We are excited to meet you and help you feel more prepared for the birth of your baby.

Please Note:

• If registered for Childbirth Preparation, you will receive a tour during that class. 

• Walk ins for tours are not permitted. 

• Space is limited so please call to cancel if you cannot attend. 

• Plan to arrive a few minutes early to find parking.

• Rolling roadblocks on US-129 (Alcoa Hwy) may cause travel delays. Please plan accordingly so we can begin on time.

Follow signs to Labor & Deliver and enter GARAGE 4 in the Flag Circle. Parking is $3 payable as you exit. Enter hospital through the Boling Pavilion (tallest building on campus) and check in at the Center for Women & Infant's Labor & Delivery Reception Desk.
