“Dr. Littleton is what I would call an 'old timey' doctor. He treats his patients with respect and I believe he genuinely cares about his patients as complex living, breathing, human beings. He does not view his patients simply as a collection of organs to be attended to. He recognizes the mind/body relationship that is so important for overall health. I don't think he could be a specialist. My perception is that he cares deeply about his patients wellbeing - both physically and mentally - and to that end takes as much time as necessary to make sure his patients understand whatever condition may be concerning them, should they have one. He asks questions and listens so carefully he's able to recognize potential future issues before they reach a level more difficult to manage. He is very proactive about preventative care. He takes the time he needs to make sure he's communicated his findings effectively. He waits to see the light bulb come on. I never feel rushed but I do feel he wastes no time. His time is valuable and he respects the fact that ours is too. I could go on and on about all that is good about Dr. Littleton. He's a rare breed of cat in this ever changing age of medicine. Old school doctors used to make home visits and learned a lot about family dynamics, lifestyle, etc., while visiting and that was oh so valuable. Well, that's a thing of the past but Dr. Littleton is about as close as one can get to providing that human element in a clinical setting.”
