Third Magnet Designation – 2021

The University of Tennessee Medical Center received notification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program® that the organization achieved Magnet recognition for the third time. (Previously, recognition was achieved in 2016 and 2011.)

Our nurses have shown immense dedication to their patients — at times standing in for loved ones — and their profession by delivering safe, high-quality and compassionate care. We are incredibly proud of all our nurses, who have resolutely served the East Tennessee community, honored their profession with excellence and supported one another with courage.
