Before your delivery date arrives, learn the essentials about what to bring, where to go and what to expect.
Pre-Registration
You can pre-register for your hospital stay online or stop by the Registration Office (open Monday-Friday, 5:30 am-6 pm) when you are here for your next prenatal appointment.
To pre-register online, simply click the link to the form below. You can complete it from any device, including your phone.
Labor & Delivery Pre-Admission Registration
You’ll still need to present your photo ID and insurance card when you arrive on delivery day. And don’t worry if you don’t get pre-registered. We can take care of everything during your hospital stay.
Childbirth Preparation Classes & Tours
We offer a wide variety of education classes to prepare you and a loved one for all aspects of your childbirth experience, breastfeeding and caring for your new baby. These popular classes fill up quickly so register early to secure the dates and times you prefer. We recommend that you attend these classes and tour our Birthing Center during the last few months of pregnancy. Register for classes here.

What to Pack
It’s best to pack a smaller bag with items you’ll want during labor and a larger bag or suitcase for your overnight stay. View our suggested packing list. A properly installed car seat is also a must. Consider visiting a child passenger safety seat inspection site prior to delivery to learn more about your car seat and the safest way to install it in your vehicle.
Parking
You may park in any visitor parking area or take advantage of our valet parking service open on Monday-Friday from 7 am-5 pm. (After these hours, your keys are available for pick up in the Security office.) There are also two parking spots as you exit the Flag Circle that are designated for patients in labor. You may park in these convenient spots, make your way directly to the Labor & Delivery unit and then have your support person return to move the car to a visitor lot.
