I am an East Tennessee native, and grew up 45 minutes northwest of Knoxville in Rocky Top, TN. I attended ETSU for undergraduate and Medical School. I completed residency at UT Knoxville in Family Medicine. During downtime I enjoy spending time with my wife Scarlett, and three wonderful children. I also enjoy playing the guitar, woodcarving and Tennessee sports.

He seemed to care by listening very carefully to what I was saying. He explained things very well and so I could completely understand what he was explaining. He asked questions. He asked me several times if I had more questions. I could not have asked for a better doctor/parient experience. With only one visit, I know that I will be able to trust his guidance and decisions in my future medical care. That is such a huge relief!”

“When I first met Dr. Towe, I was given what I believe was a very bad prognosis. I was told I only had a few years left and my prostate cancer was going to kill me. I was a mess. Dr. Towe's empathy and guidance through that time was perfect. Then he told me about the UT Cancer Institute and the Doctors there. Well, everything Jonathan said was correct. 44 Radiation Treatments later, my health and future are fantastic. I could go on but The UT Medical Umbrella saved my life. From Dr's Towe, Dill and Gadde and all the support staff, nurses and receptionists... I am forever grateful.”
