I’m a native Tennessean, born in Oak Ridge. I graduated from Oak Ridge High School and the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and medical school in Memphis. After 6 years , I completed a residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. My Board certification is from the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery. Other involvement with medicine includes being President of the Knoxville Academy of Medicine and President of the Tennessee Medical Association.
