After many years practicing internal medicine in Knoxville, I realized that I needed to become more focused on root causes of illness, whole person care (which includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects) and a team approach to help people get fully healthy. Becoming educated and board certified also in integrative medicine was the means to help me practice the type of medicine I was seeking. UTMC offered me the opportunity to have deliver true whole person care with a fantastic team of providers. We employ proven complementary modalities that can aid in healing. We stay abreast of new research, approaches and technologies to offer personalized care for our patients.

Clinical Focus:
Integrative medicine is all encompassing, personalized as far as what we treat, we look for root causes of illness, not just treating symptoms with medications My team focuses on prevention: Food is medicine, movement, sleep, stress management, minimizing environmental toxicities are essential to optimal health
