Overview
Immunotherapy or biologic therapy uses proteins normally found in the body to fight cancer. These proteins are made by some white blood cells and bone marrow cells, and slow the growth of cancer cells. Immunotherapy can help fight cancer or help control side effects from other cancer treatments like chemotherapy.
