Look in the mirror and you will see a potential University of Tennessee Medical Center volunteer. We have many opportunities for you to share your passion for care. We break down our volunteers by age range and commitment type. They are:

Teen Volunteers – People aged 15-17 who want to help their community and gain valuable skills through volunteering. Learn More

College Students – College Student Volunteers, also called Independent Volunteers are college students or adults 18 and older who want to volunteer, but are not seeking a long-term commitment. Learn More

Adult Volunteers – Adult Volunteers, also called Auxiliary Volunteers, are comprised primarily of people 18 and over seeking a long-term commitment. Learn More

Let us pair your skills and talents with the best volunteer positions available. Whether you’re a people person or a behind-the-scenes type, chances are, we’ve got the perfect job for you.

Want To Help? Here’s How

Patient Assistance

If you are interested in working with and serving patients while also assisting clinical staff, consider this area. We need compassionate, positive individuals who are self-motivated and able to anticipate the needs of the department.

Guest/Patient Services

If you are a “people person” and love going the extra mile to help others, this could be the role for you. We need compassionate, outgoing individuals who understand how stressful a trip to the hospital can be.

Members of our program gain great benefits, including great personal satisfaction, from knowing they have made a difference. Volunteer today and make a difference in your community and in your life.
